Are you saying that the orange 1000 chips were exactly the same in the super satellites as the Events? What about the 5000 or higher chips? I had more than 60,000 chips towards the end of the satellite, but I was too focused on strategizing and assumed that a casino would never use the same chips in a $275 satellite as the $5,000 and $2,500 events.
As for the final 27 who were still alive in the event when it was canceled, they each will collect $19,323—a mere pittance compared to what was to be awarded to first place.
