Irv Weinstein died from ALS today, while Johnnie Bower died after a bout with pneumonia.
Bower was such a gentleman, so gracious with every fan ......even the dumb habs fans.
Grew up watching Irv Weinstein..... there’s a 3 alarm blaze in Tonawanda and a 4 alarm blaze in Cheektowaga..... something was always on fire back then.

Johnny Bower, now he really was an icon and will be sorely missed. I'm sure there will be a number of tributes to him but please spell his name right..

I will be rereading my copy of "A Brief History of Time" and rewatching my favorite lectures.

EDIT: I have to add that Hawking was basically the most prominent scientific speaker against Philosophy in modern times and, although, I have obvious major issues with that, I will be forever changed by what he was generous enough to teach us.
