  • that's why i don't bet on sports.
  • heh i had an 8/1 honda finish in 3rd round so that was nice $40 into $320 lol was a last minute bet.

lost silva bet tho, but won with micheal johnson 4/1 to finish the fight (he KO Tibau)

overall was decent night but terrible actual main event

  • Why terrible? Round one was a clear win for Weidman, but not unexpected as Silva is notorious for "feeling out" his opponents in the first round, anyway. Consensus at our table was that Silva would come out in the second and utilize leg kicks to slow down Weidman, and lessen the likelihood of a takedown. That seemed to be what was going on, until the snap-fold.

Unfortunate conclusion to what could have been an epic contest, but terrible?
  • besides corey hill, whos a complete random, thats the worst injury ive ever seen. Having it happen to the GOAT mma fighter makes it a terrible terrible ending.
  • also apparently he cracked his shin on the 1st leg kick that was checked, then he threw it full force again and shattered it on the 2nd check. unreallll
  • stick to cards GTA....always bet on the home team :)
  • Too Soon?...

  • lol thats awesome
  • I didn't bet on it... felt it was too close to call... I miss the days 8 years ago when all the great fighters fought for too long at the end of their careers... Was easy money back then

    well played
  • Anyone else wonder if Weidman has a bruised shin? priorities I guess.
  • Methinks he stung his knee breaking Silva's left tibia and fibula with “The Destruction” move. ;)
