  • I got stuck a couple hundred.....asked the wife to cough up her share.....
    she was not happy.
  • At first i wanted her(my Girlfriend) to play with us mainly because whe did not have a lot of player around. She was a bit shy at first and extra tight (Say what) :) But after a couple of tourney she became one of the fiercest player at the table. Never bring someone with a photographic memory at your table. :) fun fact: Every time a new player start playing with us hes going to try and bullie her around. And everytime whe all know hes going down.

I had no problems taking my wife to tournaments with me, until  one time, she won a HUGE pot (at another table), and yelled across the room."JOHNNNIEEEEEE_POOO?" , and I'm thinking "Should I answer her and admit to the whole room that I'm "johnnie-poo" or just ignore her and catch hell later?  My sense of self preservation won out over my ego, and I called back, "WHAT, I"M TRYING TO BLUFF HERE!!".  Her response.  "I like this game."

    The moral of the story,

Maybe, its OK for wives/girlfriends/fiancies/bedpals NOT to be interested in poker.

    Johnnie "poo" H
