That promotion is nowhere as good as Woodbine's First Anniversary five-day promo where ten $1,000 cash prizes were awarded. I played a tournament at Brantford on Sunday and Rama on Monday, and they both had a lot more tables running than Woodbine. With WPT Fallsview announced, many poker playas in the GTA will be headed for Fallsview from now until February 24, so after going regularly to Woodbine, I don't know when I'll bother going to Woodbine again. Hopefully by the time WPT FPC is over, Woodbine will have improved the SNG times and payouts, so I may go back to being a Woodbine reg then.

Better for the rest of us Still plenty of fish at Woodbine. Only the more skilled players have any interest in Fallsview, so the skill level will likely drop at WB over the coming months.
To enter, visit the Woodbine Poker Lounge from December 6 - 20 to receive an entry ballot. Open to Winner’s Circle Rewards members with a Pokertek account at OLG Slots at Woodbine Racetrack only.
What is a pokertek account? ...can I get one while at Woodbine if I pop-in to fill out a ballot?
... Ten (10) qualifiers will be selected on December 20 to participate in the Electronic Poker Macau Poker Cup Qualifier Tournament on December 27, 2013. The winner will earn their seat to the Macau Poker Cup Red Dragon Tournament!
I tried to go to Woodbine on Monday night, but all the streets around it were blocked off the police. There was no way I could drive into Woodbine and there was a lot of emergency vehicles.
Anybody know what happened? Did a losing poker player go postal and held the Pokertek machines hostage?

No, but apparently the SnG time has now been extended to 2pm from noon. That should be a thumbs up for Mr. Blondefish When I was there on Thursday, a $230 ran around noon.
Baby steps are better than nothing. After being a Woodbine reg, I'll play for the FIRST time this year after WPT CSC. Does anybody know if the SNGs have been running on Saturday or Sunday mornings?

Woodbine has improved from a four-hour SNG window to up to 14 hours/weekday. Here are the new hours instead of just 8 a.m. - noon:
Monday - Thursday: 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday - Sunday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
I'll probably resume playing at Woodbine this weekend. Anybody interested in trying to play a SNG after midnight, e.g., April 14, Easter Monday or Victoria Day, May 19 >= 12:01 AM?
Thanks for the update, I may do a day trip to woodbine on my holidays first week of May, also planning Casino Windsor and or Fallsview but not 100% sure yet.
Driving to Woodbine in hopes of playing a SNG continues to be a waste of time due to the deadline. In case pokerJAH or any other Woodbine player notices an SNG ever running after midnight, please post. I should have withdrawn all my balance from there, but I'll do so next time I'm headed to a Casino Rama MTT.
Monday - Thursday: 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday - Sunday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Has anybody noticed any SNG ever run at Woodbine between 12:01 am - 6 am? Since Mohawk sold out early on Saturday and online was down for me on Sunday, I would like to play there on early Easter Monday if an SNG will run.
Wat, I didn't even play a single hand of poker in the long weekend - Friday, Saturday & Sunday! I play less poker than sn1perb0y, JordanGM, lynx5 and just about any member that still plays online.
The great news is that according to Woodbine, there were five tables running after 12:01 am Monday, and three SNGs ran consecutively. I've rarely played at Woodbine, but I'm ready for the next Forumers' Night At Woodbine on the Victoria Day holiday Monday, May 19, after 12:01 am.
That's not good, there were 3 consecutive SNGs on Monday morning after midnight, but none on Wednesday morning. I was thinking of driving there after I bust out of a tournament at night, but not if the stoopid time restrictions continue to prevent the running of SNGs.
I rarely go to Woodbine due to the stupid tournament deadlines, but can anybody confirm if there are draconian new rules there?
"... when I asked for table changes they told me we are not allowing them anymore because its too difficult for our staff to manage and keep track of. I was already given 2 x 24 hour suspensions for barely glancing at my cell phone. I was told that gum and a bag of chips was not allowed at the table..."
I stopped by Woodbine last night. Another rule that seems to be different from before is that you can get kicked out just for touching an absent player's screen. There was an inconsiderate player who kept leaving his seat without pressing the "sit out" button, and the pretty girl beside him was wondering if it was OK for her to fold his hand, but we were warned not to. There was no supervisor doing the job of patrolling the room, so we had to shout across the room just to get an employee, who confirmed that players are forbidden to fold the hand and he eventually folded it himself.
When there was no list for the SNG that is restricted between 12:01 am - 2 pm, I decided to leave with my winnings.

Nothing going on at Windsor that I know of, Too many people want the dates that the Canada cup is off at work.

That place could be amazing if they offered even the smallest amount of customer service.
