Not sure about this. It was a paired, flushed board and he had middle 2pr. I was hoping he had a boat or at least a flush or trips but no such luck.

  • Anyone going to be in Brantford tonight?

I'll be in the area so grabbed a seat in the $150 Bounty.
  • Do you know how many entries there are so far? I wasn't planning to play at Brantford until this Thursday's Deep Stack with < 10% rake & prize pool up to $24,000.

They capped tonight, as they do every Tuesday. Usually seel the last tickets around 4pm.

There are only 9 seats sold for thurs right now, but Im certain it will sellout.

Last time I was there, the gift store person said they can never promise a sell out, but was told that she hasn't been there when one hasn't sold out yet.

Have you played there since May 13? Everytime I've played, there has not been more than three tables! Even the so-called "Super Satellites" to the Deep Stack events with $50,000-$100,000 prize pools have been more like "Super Secret" with only 20 players or less, generating only 2 or 3 seats. :'(

I'm willing to bet you a drink that it won't sell out. No dressing-up-in-drag bets for me! :wink2:
  • I have included the upcoming high buy-in tournaments in Ontario in a new thread.
  • Anybody else thinking of playing in tomorrow night's $130+$20 Bounty tournament? There were around 70 players in the last Bounty tourney.
  • No, but I'm playing in tomorrow's $120 Freezeout as a warm up for next Sunday's $550 Deepstack.
  • Here's an updated guide to Ontario poker that I wrote for Casino World Magazine.
