If you did that it was either a misclick, timeout or just plain dumb.

Even worse is bluffing your whole stack with AK when you miss the flop;).

We all have moments, same with pros on t.v., you see them also going why did I do that after they done it.:)
  • difference is at the end of my hand, i know if I were to play it again Id do exact same thing, well yours, you wouldnt fold QQ unless your actually that nitty

True I would not fold QQ, but not all the details are given about the situation, anyway we are talking about a dollar here, lololol, I am not talking about what happened to me anyway, I was relating to Darb.:)

because phili is avoiding the question and steering it to another one....never fear though.....phili doesn't fold qq pre.....nerver.

    YouTube - I HAVE NEVER.
  • Nerver!, haha, darbday is coming back!

I am not avoiding anything, I have no clue what comp is asking or talking about.

If you guys don't let the 2 big stacks with equal stacks both go all in before you and duke it out and you move up the scale(even though again it is like a dollar, the amount is nothing to argue and get all this drama about) then obv you guys don't play stt's which is fine and I know you guys don't know the whole situation of the hand, but then again this thread is about Darbday, not me, I was just relating I did the same thing and I said in my 1st post it was already a ugh moment, I don't get why there has to be drama all the time.

It is not 100% optimal to fold, but it is acceptable depending on the situation. It was a great read by me( something minor I am trying to work on and get back to where I was in that area, hence why it is only a buck stt), I don't feel great but I feel good
about it and ready to go on to the next one. :)
I am playing poker and having fun and trying to make the best decisions instead of worrying about money, stats and all the other shit and winning, if your not then it sucks to be you.

Might be someone else avoiding the question. :) Why did he say he folded QQ 3 handed preflop then? Just wondering...
  • It sounds like it was something like:

Stack A has 10k in chips
Stack B has 10k in chips
Philli has 5k in chips with QQ in the BB.

Stack A shoves, stack B folds, Philli folds.
  • wasnt a great read to fold qq, you got lucky that you folded and someone had a better hand then you. Because more often then not 3 handed qq will be the best hand.
  • FFS!!! when do i ever fold here pre....

^^When you have 12 tables open and you are busy opening another 5 and trying to make sure it is at the right buyin.

  • Don't worry darbday, if you completed the sb, the time it takes to see the flop is slightly longer thus the RNG causes to deck to shuffle more, and it's very likely a different flop would have came out.
(Not sure if I explained this clearly enough but from my understanding, the deck is constantly being shuffled until the bb completes the action and the flop is dealt).

I think this is true for everysite but P*. From what I heard once the cards are dealt, the flop turn and river are already in place.

I think Steven Levitt has an article about this, using AA as his example, does he not?

    Regardless it's an insta-call.
