  • Guarantees will lower but w/e, I'd guess the fields might be even softer than before (assuming all goes well and scoop still runs/we get our money)

    BAP
    t8urmoney 1% (reserved)

    shipped on stars
  • I will most likely take out some tournaments from this BAP due to the 3hr earlier time start (Weeknight ones are iffy, and Sunday tournaments starting at 10am *puke).

Would you want partial refunds, full refunds, or baps for other tournaments that I end up playing during this time period?

Other majors that I can substitute instead are

    Bodog $100k $162
    Party Million this sunday $640
    Merge $50k $109
    Party $200k $215
    Full Tilt Brawl $240
    Full Tilt Sunday Major $216

Might also hop back on to ongame.

Transfer to other BAP - will send more to make up for it if necessary (just personal pref)
  • Other BAPS work for me as well

    Works for me too
  • I am o.k. with you playing any of those other majors that you listed, unless it means you have to adjust the price and you need more money per share cause I got no money on any sites at the moment.:cool2:
  • Will take up to 4% if you increase.
  • I won't be asking for more money, any extra I'll add on to the waiting list or just throw it in there.
  • Starting in 1/2hr. Whatever scoops I don't play I'll just addon tournaments on Sun 22 to make things easier. Might still end up playing all of them, just have to leave work a bit earlier.
  • Overplay AA much?

  • Busted #2 (m). I don't think I played a hand in an hr prior to busting.
  • Busted #2(l) 903rd for $108. Button raiser, I reshove in the BB with A7 15xbb, called by A9. game over.

I think I have my game back though, only limiting myself to 8 tables at a time. I believe I lost my reading edge when I tried to multi too many. Cashed 9/13 tournaments today, one still going on (stars bigger).
  • Lost every single one of my allins in the $11r turbo.

That's awesome...thought I was the only one who runs that bad in rebuys...lol

I've been playing the $1+r turbo's for practice on flips.....hasn't helped
  • Yeah it was disgusting, I usually run decent during rebuy periods but for some reason I couldn't win anything whether ahead or behind. Was playing a $33 3x turbo sat to the $10k me and pretty much the same in that as well.
  • I wouldnt play the 33r 3x's unless your roll is like 100k+ fwiw.

Really? Do you mean poker roll? How many here have poker rolls of >$100K. ?

lol, life rolls maybe but not poker rolls...

and he's saying if not, shouldn't be playing these

u can blow through tonnes of b/i's on these very easy....on the surface it's a $33 tourney, but in reality, it's a $300-$500 tourney

Understood quite a few of you are playing a lot higher than $33.'s so do you all have $100K in your poker bankrolls? Find that VERY hard to believe... I guess where I am in life I could put $100k in my poker bankroll but wife might not be too happy with that...:) And wouldn't bankroll rules really only apply if poker is your primary source of income?

Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who has played no higher than a $26.50 online tourney in his entire lifetime....

Fair enough, just pointing out, the $33+r 3x turbo plays like one of the most expensive tourneys u can play....less the $500+ events
  • Yeah what Vekked is saying is that this should not be a regular tourney unless you have an approx $100k roll, which I completely agree. I'm only going to play this a few times, take some shots. Last year I played it 3 times, won it once and cashed it another time.

It does end up being an expensive rebuy though, especially the last 2 hands of the rebuy period I was BB and then SB, both blinds were more than the starting chip amount. The 90min rebuy period really builds the pot.

One thing I do with these 3x turbo sats is that I only double rebuy at the beginning (or if I bust within the first few levels). After that its a single rebuy as the goal is to just make it to the addon period where you get 50,000 chips vs the 5,000 starting.

    +alot

The only way to be profitable in these is to make it to the addon.

You could blow through 300 easily without even playing a hand.
