Casino Windsor Nothing to Hide No Limit Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament ??
Who has played this or can tell me about the pros and cons of the Windsor Venue and series? Trying to write a preview for it (not for CPT), know nothing about this particular location. Ring game action, attendance comps, hotels? Few opinions wouldn't hurt.
Or if someone else wants a stab at the whole thing and wants to be published, PM me and will put you in touch with editor. An Ontario writer would be great!

How many players were in the first one?
Your comments contradict each other. If the payouts aren't flat then even fewer people will cash.
I would prefer that only players ITM return on the 'final day' and that the pay out structure is steeper - no idea how that is contradictory or senseless. Let me solve the riddle for you - pay fewer - and play down to that number on Fri/Sat.
But thank you for your input!
Hobbes - The tournament will be run with 10 a table.
Compuease - The buy-in for qualifying tournaments is $95 with 1 in 10 winning a transferable ticket to the main event. They run 10am and 8:15pm every day until the event is sold out.
Steve Kerr - First one sold out at 200 buy-in $550. Some seats were sold for $850.
BWC - Will take under consideration.
We anticipate a great showing for this event with tons of play time. You will be starting with 12.5K chips. The rules are available at the website. You are looking at 60K for 1st place.
Cheers,

I was seriously going to go to BC but now I am thinking about going to Windsor. It being closer to home and all.
Anyone else in the area considering this?
Road trip?
Sounds good
I'm in
Damn, wish I could consider my life roll part of my poker roll... My wife insists my poker playing has to fund my poker habit...
Anybody want to buy 75% of me? lol... Just kidding... sort of..
When are you holding it?
The Casinos, Large and small charity are pretty much owned buy the Ontario Government.
Instead of running Sats in all of the card rooms, Rama, Fallsview, etc
Unless someone decides to do a Satty or in the next 3 or 4 weeks we have to go to windsor and play in them.
A lot of BS I tell ya.:bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs::bs:
Hang on Maybe I can work something out and run 3 or 4 in the next couple of weeks.
All these are reasons not to hold Canadian majors at the same time....until we have the player base and draw that the big US/Europe events do, they should seriously consider timing things better... Don't split the players across the country that may go west (or east)...let them play both.
Havoc and Chaos.
There are not enough Major tournaments east of Manitoba Border.
3 large casinos with big ballrooms sit idle most of the time
Before you say it. I am talking 500 or more players like the WPT not 120 seat 1k buy-in.
yepyep. Not sure if I want to drive Friday night and rest or go up Saturday am for day 1B
On Saturday it starts at 4pm but if you pre register over the phone they want you there at 2pm to complete registration
Have you got your seat for day 1b yet?
I have been running real bad as of late. Last night I was totally Card Dead. I think I had 3 playable hands . The flops were very unkind when I was in a hand.
I found out that there is a 50th birthday party for a close friend of ours on that Sat also that I have been told , YOU ARE GOING. Happy wife, Happy Life so I am told. Good Luck fellahs.
