the book costs far less online. usually 20-30% less. generally, if you buy 2 books, the cost is more than enough to qualify for free shipping. even shipping if you don't qualify is only a couple of bucks - still cheaper to buy online IMO. plus i'm lazy...
and before you ask - i don't own any shares on amazon. i have just been a very happy customer in the past. i believe i have ordered from chapters/indigo.ca in the past as well but i find their prices aren't quite as good, generally speaking.
I've read Phil Helmuth Jr's, 'Play Poker Like the Pros' and am currently reading Gary Carsons, 'The Complete Book of Hold'Em Poker'. I loved Phil's book more though admittedly, both are quite light on NL Hold'em. Both are good for beginners in any event. :spade:
