lulz didnt know that i just play FL online thought it would be the same live... guess not

Some online sites allow unlimited raises heads up. Vegas is max 5 bets per round and in Ontario it's 4 max, but both do allow unlimited heads up bets.

See when he says that you're supposed to smile and say "just lucky I guess". But don't tell the fish they're playing bad, because then they'll stop and your profit will go down :)
  • the 5/10 game is extremely soft, I've never seen such bad players anywhere else (ex: one guy hit a straight flush and just check called turn and river, didn't realize he had a straight flush till the dealer told him at showdown).
the 10/20 game seems a bit nittier but there are still some very bad players.
  • I used to play the CNE every night at both limits - there is no difference between the two games - the level of play is equally poor.

With limit it’s just too hard for some players to fold to that single bet. Having said that, they generally won’t.

Note the players that can fold on the river - it wont be many - but you *may* be able to bluff. If you haven’t noted a player for their ability to fold after calling a flop bet dont try to bluff this player on the river after a missed draw.

To me, the worse player is the one who gets mad trying to bluff the person who has clearly not folded to a bet on the river in 5 hours. The blame is yours here, not theirs. You be adaptable and change your game, not theirs.

The best advise I can give is don’t show up with a set minimum limit you will play - don’t drive from kw to Toronto to put $150 on the table and bust out after 4 or 5 well played hands that didn’t go your way. You need to be able to reload and accept the variance.

There is a ton of money to be made, but where there is reward there sits her ugly cousin risk. Don’t expect to get one without at least flirting with the other.
  • well put metro
  • just played a session there after about 4hrs..... have to say it went pretty good hit some sets for some nice sized pots

gonna hit it up all day friday when the cne opens... hope the fish come as well :)
  • Can you call in to the CNE for a seat?

No call ins. You have to go in person.
  • Any must-see shows or attractions at The Ex this year? So far, the only choice I see is to be stuck the whole day at the Kids' World area with Doo Doo the Clown, or sneak off to the Casino!
