  • How many runners were there? Still deciding if I'm going to head down on Saturday while the wife goes shopping.

This is the Wetts theory imo.

Sell wife on shopping and nice hotel with spa, go play cards.

My understanding is theyve been getting between 70 - 120 for the prelims.

Im guessing Saturday will be between 90-100, if Seneca history is any indicator. Likely looking at 11K-15K for shipping.

In before the obligatory Blondefish "withholding" post . . .

In after nits cant wait a few months to get it all back.
  • What's your guess for the length of Sat's tourney?
  • Last Saturday for the $250 buy in there was 167 runners.

When they used to start at 10 they would end around 7pm, but that was with 8K chips.

I would venture to say like 10-11PM?

And if last Saturday is an indication it looks like the weekend fields are bigger this year.
  • Last call......

Which section of the tax treaty do you use to get it back? I took a quick look but didn't see anything that applied.

    Thanks,

All you need is losing receipts to balance your winnings. Ive paid small amounts to have people do this for me though.

If you want to do it yourself, there is a very good post by Voodoo around here that takes you step by step.

    For picking that SCAB!

You go have fun, and I'll go see "Little House on The Prairie"

$5.00 on #17 would be a nice touch though!

    Giver Hell!...Show me the $$$$$$$$

  • Most likely will be there for Sat's tourney
  • Saturday or Sunday's tournament will know by tonight.
  • Absolutely punted a 90K stack at 600/1200. Was prob like top 8-9 in chips and decided to get it in bad against the 1 guy that could cripple me. Out 32 of 156, top 20 pay.

SteveKerr still in when I left with like 85K.
  • I built my stack up to about 200k when the wheels fell off.

I doubled up 3 short stacks.
Q's are no good against A 2 suited with a rivered flush
    K's are no good against A 7 off with a turned A
    and A K no good against K Q with a Q on the flop
of coarse the short stacks were all in pre flop.

I was left crippled with 12 players left and my A 9 on the button all in was called by the small blind who held K Q and caught a Q.

So busted at 1am in 12th for a min cash of $600.

11th to 20th got $600 then the final tabled progressed from 9th getting $1000 up to 1st just getting over $13k
  • What happened with the payout on that, sounds retarded. NJ though. Didnt Friday's event pay $14k+? I went out somewhere in the 70s, never got into any big pots.
