  • According to Cardplayer:
The PokerStars North American Poker Tour has pulled into the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for the final stop of season one.

Not much of a season if this is true only three events. Very dissappointing in my opinion.
  • Its the final announced stop of season one, more will be added
  • Rumours abound!

    oooooooooooooohhhhhh do tell!
  • I can't figure out why someone with some Brains, Clout and Money does not get behind doing a major Canadian Tour . 1 Event in each province at a major casino.
I am sure you could draw a lot of players with higher prize boards.
I really don't consider the so called NAPT a tour with 3 events.
Anyone heard anything about the WPT making a return to Fallsview?
  • Girlfriend read something about a 4 or 5 G tourney at Rivercree in Edmonton in the new Poker Pro Canada magazine.....

Kinda forgot when she mentioned it, but that kind of buy-in is unusual for the Edmonton area......hmmmmmmmmm. I'll have to read it when I get home.

The PokerCast had the guy running the NAPT on a couple of shows ago.

He says he's got 2 more destinations planned at the moment.

    1 South-West (Commerce?)

1 North (North of Mohegan Sun pretty much has to be Canada)
  • I checked the WPT website and all I could find was a couple of tourneys in France and England. I will check it again in a couple of weeks. Noone at Fallsview is saying anything..
I saw an add for P* on Tv. The big game. If you can win they will stake you 100k to play and you get to keep what you win.
    Negreanu-Greenstein-Mercier and Vanessa Rousseau?
The bust out queen of the WPT.
  • The PCA has been announced as an EPT event for next season. Is there any hope the NAPT will survive and if so any events coming to Canada?

If it helps, you should here something on the upcoming NAPT stops and the mystery slot in October on the EPT very soon ;)

You should easily hear about those before the above time ticks away in seconds

I haven't worked in the poker room or had anything to do with the decisions being made about poker at Fallsview in over 8 months....
  • Could be Fallsview. WPT does not look to be coming according to the schedule posted on their website.
  • Noticed on Stars site there is a new NAPT event announced Nov 12 - 17 at the Bike in L.A..

Bad timing, will likely compete with the BCPC (which will get my vote and attendance).

    Hi All,

Shaniac - Nothing I can confirm. As I mentioned to Todd Terry in another thread, there are possible dates to be announced before the Bike Event, but nothing that can be confirmed at this time.

This event is going to be amazing though! The people at the Bike have been awesome and I can't wait to get this thing fired up!!!

    Hi Timex,

We definitely want something in Canada and are working VERY hard to pull that off. As soon as I have anything on any other NAPT stops I will fire it off.
