I'm leaving for Vegas on Thurs to see U2 and play some poker. Before I booked anything, I got the ok from the wife and made sure it wasn't going to be a big problem. A lot of marriages are ruinned because of gambling, really as a result of lack of communication.

U2 = -ev in my opinion. Bono is an extra terrestrial from some planet populated entirely by douchebags. (just one man's opinion, and probably worthy of a whole other thread). After seeing PokerJah's other thread about all the times and places he's seen them, I'm sure we won't agree on this point. (remember, just one man's opinion, and I don't want or need you to defend your love for the band).
My wife is an amazing woman, and she actually ok'd this trip before I even posted. I just wanted to see whether people generally felt that leaving a woman with little support and a four month old baby (regardless of how wonderfully tempered that baby is) was a selfish and potentially self destructive move.
As I said, I'll be taking advantage of some of the deals available in the pre-christmas down time. I went at that time last year and had a great trip. It also gives my partner plenty of advance notice.
