To be honest, that's what I was thinking too as there was no way I could answer the original post with the incomplete information given and no hand history. With the additional (but confusing) information given since, GIVEN THE VILLAIN'S RANGE, it is not only highly +cEV but also +$EV to call. I love making these higher-variance but profit-maximizing plays against lagtards like the villain, and the weak-tight who give up huge equity by folding too much on the mistaken assumption that they have a huge skills edge against everybody else and can afford to wait for other such highly +$EV opportunities with less risk.
