Posting from Bellagio after some food. Feeling a bit of a headache but otherwise doing ok. Crashing for an hour before going back to play the last 2 levels. Hopefully will have better news afterwards.
Geesh, you kids just don't have the stamina...
Gl Wes, don't sleep in and get yourself blinded out.... And if you do, make up a good story about the trio of hookers that..... well you get the idea..

What is Wes' last name, I thought it was Wong but I don't see him... I am trying to find what table he is on on the 1d entrants spreadsheet.
You are right..it is Wong. But my players card has my Chinese name on it instead (because they copy the info off the passport). Anyways, I'll take a look at the spreadsheet and try to find myself.
A quick recap of today, basically a whole day of frustration. Never went about 32K~ and basically came up with too many second best hands. The deep starting stack, excellent structure, and not trying to play big pots too early basically kept me in the tournament longer.
Had a couple of semi-competent players at the table, but other than that it was a very weak table. Last hand was basically a raiser in EP with blinds 150/300 a25, 3 other callers and I had about 8200~ in the SB. Thought about re-raising to 3400 or something and pull a go-go, but decided shoving was probably best. Either way, original raiser put a re-raise after my shove, and the other callers.
He shows KK, and flop was Kxx, so my money would've gone in on the flop anyways drawing pretty dead. Nothing on the turn and I go back to Bellagio.
First WSOP ME was a terrific experience, really disappointed I wasn't able to at least last through day 1. I will be going to rail actyper a bit tomorrow, and also Blondefish on Thursday before flying out Wednesday night.
Just went downstairs to "Snacks" to grab a bite. Noticed a couple of games running in Bobby's Room so poked my head in to the poker room to see what was happening. Saw Juanda, Johnny Chan, Doyle, and 3 other players (can't recognized them) playing on one table, and Ziigmund and another player playing what seems like Chinese on the other.

Don't worry Wes this is next year, not too mention all the time before 2010 to hit other big scores. I would like to congratulate all the forumers that headed to the WSOP this year, although we haven't made a dent in any of the tournies (well several cashes etc) I think there is a strong future for a lot of people on this site.

Well said, couldn't agree more... We'll get em next year... or before..

Graham, where can I get the online link for the seating for Day 2B, etc? I asked the WSOP Player Services, but they were clueless. Both players and WSOP employees at the Rio have less information available than those surfing online!

Here's one I found but it has not been posted as "official" as yet. There are some discrepancies...
I just have to take one last beat before leaving Vegas.
Went to dinner with Terrence Chan, Gavin Griffin, Matt Hawrilenko and others - obviously I'm the guy that has to lose the credit card roulette. One last post from the Everest Lounge and will be heading back to Venetian to collect my bags and off to the airport shortly. Thanks for everyone's support, sorry I wasn't able to do anything. There is still room for you guys to cheer on actyper and BlondeFish though....

That may be why he is not feeling well.
Sorry to hear Wes! There is always next year!

Back at the hotel, room 26-074. I heard you were here in my room a couple of days ago when you took off early from the 2p2 party
Unfortunately this info is not available anywhere for all players. They only really keep track of "famous poker pros".
Where are you seated tomorrow again? Blue 15 or something?
Here is the seating for day 2a:

Thanks Graham!
When you get back you can always try for a EPT seat
Enjoy the rest of your stay in Vegas!
time for a well deserved nap
