Just starting something similar to Compuease's
July 2 - Land at 11am, drop off bags at Bellagio, grind out satellites at Rio, maybe catch a show in the evening with a non-poker friend who is there for the weekend, and Bluff party at Saphhire's
July 3 - More grinding satellites at Rio, maybe shoot some guns at gun range or find something else to do, and 2p2 Gathering at Hard Rock
July 4 - More satellite grinding, and HOPEFULLY Pure Party at Ceasar's, if not we'll find something to do.
July 5 - Either play Day 1C, or grind satellites
July 6 - Either playing Day 1D, or play one of the other series going on/cash
July 7 - Other tournament/cash
July 8 - Either Day 2B, or if I'm busto'ed from ME, flying out this day in the evening.
As you can tell, I'm pretty open to whatever/whenever. If anyone wants to follow my progress, I'll be updating my twitter - Wesley Wong (weswong8 ) on Twitter and hopefully through my FB as well. Or if anyone wants to e-mail me - westside8 [at] gmail [dot] com. I'll try to update my blog too, but I suck at updating my blog so we'll see. BF will also have my phone number and I'm always up for grabbing drinks or what not.

Note that US Customs almost made me miss my flight even though I was carrying less than $10K and that satellites, like any tournament, have high variance, so you want to have access to a lot of cash if you intend to grind the MTTs, single table and Mega satellites. There are at least three parties on July 2, plus a Q&A with WSOP TD Jack Effel at the Everest Lounge at 6 PM. I'll be at the Everest and PartyPoker events, but I don't know if I'll have time for the Aced party or Sapphire.

You should check the aced party also. My friend Brandon is hosting it, and he is known for throwing some awsome parties, plus its in the sky villas at the palms
I am currently at the Everest suite at the Rio, waiting for Jack Effel's appearance. Somebody just mentioned that Matt Damon is playing a satellite (to see if the Main Event bracelet has his name on it), but I don't know if I'll have enough time to finish a satellite by 6 PM. Afterwards, I am thinking of taking the Rio shuttle back to Paris, and look for a couple of friends and actyper at the PartyPoker party at Wet Republic and/or Tabu nightclub tonight. My roommate StinkyFingers has returned home, so I have an extra guest bracelet available for the PartyPoker or Aced parties. I'm not sure if I'll have time to go back to the Rio/Palms area for the other two parties tonight, so if I bump into a forumer who wants to go to the Aced and Sapphire parties instead, I may skip the PartyPoker party.

Sat 1 - $125 buyin. Second hand of tourney, blinds 25/25, raise to t75 AK CO, called by Button, BB.

I bet 225, Button calls, BB fold

I bet 325, he shoves, I call, he shows A10

I am left with a single 25 chip (he lost 25 in the first hand from SB)
Went out about 5 hands later but got into a $335 2 winner satellite.
Sat 2 - $335 2 winner
Nothing interesting of note early on, flopped top set and managed to squeezed out 125 from player to my right, and flopped TP and took down a 4 way pot.
Blinded down to starting stack, blinds 100/200
Player in CO shove for 725, I reshove for 1300, button says "I gotta call" and calls
CO - K9, Me - AJ, Button - AK
Board runs out A 2 3 5 2. Off to satellite number 3
Sat 3 - $525 buyin
A bit of history with villain. He has been in every hand thus far in the tourney. First hand he raised Q7o in EP, called by myself in the SB with 89cc and BB. Flopped Q-10-7 1 club, I checked called a small bet, turn 3c. I check folded to a potsized bet. River x...where villain went all-in blind, BB called and villain showed and was good with 2p.
So now on to my hand, about 2 orbits in, still first level. Villain still has been in every hand so far, and makes standard raise to 75 and get 2 callers to me on the button. I re-raise to 350 with 1010. Villain insta-shoves...and I tank for about 30 seconds, and calls. Villain flips over A10..and door card on flop was the A.
Posting this from the Everest Lounge, and heading back shortly and will be at Hard Rock donking around at the 2p2 Gathering tonight. Will be stopping by to check on Watts in a bit before heading back.
Random bits and pieces:
Got out of the cab the same time Gus Hansen was walking in - talked to him for about 30 seconds before hitting the door. Once he got in, he was mobbed by about 4-5 females within 15 seconds of entering the Rio.
Mike Matusow was signing his book at the Poker Palozza
Phil Hellmuth was signing various Poker Brat Clothing apparels at his booth - his line was approx. 3 times as long as Matusow's.
Free food at Everest and Poker Party lounge is the way to go.
