PokerStars is attempting to set the record for the World's Largest Poker Tournament on Sun. Dec. 28 at 3:30pm ET (in place of the normal Sunday 200 Grand).
$10 +$1, $500K guaranteed, max. 35,000 players.
10-handed tables, 10-minute blinds.
Pays top 8,750 players! (ya, that's what I would call a big tourney)
I've already registered (and would suggest any interested forumers do the same) as Stars could get 35,000 players registered in advance for this one given that it is at least $150K value-added.
...and you can always brag to your friends that you are in the Guinness World Record book (without giving out too many specifics).
