  • And if you were describing the kind of woman who sleeps with guys for money, drugs or popularity then you are wrong as well. She sleeps with guys out of pity. At least that’s what she told me.

Nah, it was deepest love. ;)

    Welcome back to the forum!

    xoxo

(ps. Mrs. Flint Bones, if you ever read this forum..I kid!)
  • Well, you dont have to believe to me guys. But try not to insult me. lol Im sensitive you know.

BTW, hasnt any of you guys every played a charity event? Run with professional dealers, a tournament organizer and what not? Just because its a not for profit organization doesnt mean that people arent making money. Everyone gets paid. The charity hosts it, who makes no money other than what is donated, and paid out to the people that they hire to run the tournament.

infact, i ran a couple of these tournys and we even had police officers in the building... working as security. Not in uniform, but still.

As I said, you dont have to believe me... But if you really want answers, see a lawyer and they will tell you the same shit.

I think even collecting the money to collectively order the food is an issue.. I'd suggest each player bring their own snacks pot-luck style... nothing stops a few guys from ordering pizza for the group..

IF this is true, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.
Obviously the cops probably wouldn't bust you on this principle, and as many have said, they mainly look for the underground games hosted in rented space making 100s of thousands of dollars in rake.

That said, if it were illegal to run a poker game at my home with my friends, I'd leave Canada.
  • Once again, running a game in your home is not illegal. Trying to PROFIT from that game in ways OTHER than winning pots, is.

Well, if it ever gets that bad, don't come to Thailand looking for poker games. Gambling is illegal here. Although there are lots of underground gambling venues, the card games they play are weird and crooked as a dog's hind leg.

For me, the only poker game available is the online type, so I envy you guys and gals who can sit down to play live games. I suspect that I'm breaking some Thai laws by playing online, but I've never heard of anyone getting busted for it, and besides, I have some fairly powerful connections in the Thai police department. LOL

  • While I no longer wish to be your concubine, I will consider adopting you. I always wanted a little sister to pick on. And, you're feisty enough to keep it from getting boring. Love ya . . .
