whose lives are affected by epilepsy. All proceeds from this event
will go directly to funding the services and programs for people in
our community that require this support.
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized sudden, brief
changes in how the brain works which shows itself as seizures.
Epilepsy affects over 400 000 people in Canada. There are more than
twice as many people with epilepsy in Canada as the number of people
with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and
cystic fibrosis combined; however it remains an overlooked and
underfunded health condition.
This event will be held Thursday July 9th at the St. George Banquet
Hall, 665 King St. N. in Waterloo starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $20
and available in advance by phoning 519-745-2112. Last year's event
was sold out!
For more information, contact Epilepsy Waterloo-Wellington at
519-745-2112 or email us at epilespy@epilww.com
The agency is working in conjunction with the University of Waterloo
School of Pharmacy Class of 2012 CSL Project.

The best wings in town are Wings Up. Not a bar though, just a fast food place that does wings only. And they're not fast. And they cost an arm and a leg.
