  • ok so what do you have to do to get 'blue' status?
  • Anyone here hit one of the previous tournaments? Seems a little too good to be true, I'm wondering how legit this is.
  • You have to fill out the sign up for and complete the two step process. Email me if you have any questions - members@allinforthecure.ca
  • We've had over 700 players come through our tournaments, I am sure someone can tell you all about it...also check out our past events page at AIFTC - Past Events and you will see that they are for real. If you go through the sign up process you'll understand how it works and if you have any questions email me at members@allinforthecure.ca
    Thanks. Oli

I have played at one of their tournaments before; you make a deposit on a poker site (details on their website), and I think they return your deposit at the tournament. So basically you have no financial risk. Then you get to play in the tournament to win some great prizes.

btw, as I have already played on this poker site before, if you don't mind using me as a reference when you sign up on 'allinforthecure', then I will also get registration into the tournament. They are legit.
  • I can also vouch for them being legit.

I have done 3 or 4 of the "deals" on the site, and got paid for each one.

I have also been hired in the past to be TD for the live tourney.

Haven't heard from them about working this one though.
  • oh, i prefer the 12-step process

just sign up and use me as a reference so we both can play; if they stiff you on your $20 deposit, I will cover 50%.
  • I stopped by at the tournament where DataMn was the TD and it was well-run. Last time, DataMn was not involved and there were a lot less players and I heard many complaints. Hopefully, DataMn will be hired again to run the tournament properly and more forumers will be willing to give it a try.

By the way, allinforthecure, is this a 100% legal event without any objections from the OPP/AGCO? As 13CARDS correctly pointed out before, if the OPP/AGCO hasn't approved it, some people may not want to have any involvement, especially with the full names of players being publicly posted on the main page.

  • The very last event was not part of All in for the Cure and the upcoming event will be just like the orignial events! This is a completely legit event as it is private and open to members of All in for the Cure only. There is no money involved at the event, you can not pay to get into the event - therefore it is legit, we have worked with our lawyers and the Illegal Gaming department of the OPP in making the structure of these tournaments. The names displayed will actually be removed, we have come up with a different system of confirmation. Any questions or concerns, please direct them to sponsors@allinforthecure.ca

  • he will receive a 100% deposit bonus upon signing up
  • I can also vouch for this event as being legit.. Now since I have already played on Mansion poker I can not use it to get into the event. If anyone else wants tomplay this and has not played on mansion before, can you please let me know and use me as a referral so we can both play?
  • I have played this before so yes, legit.
But does it really need 18 threads?
  • We've got over 200 players already registered for this one!
  • Less then 100 seats left. 24 hours left until the Early Bird Prize deadline.

Yes there is a way, I apologize but I don't recall receiving an email from you otherwise I would have responded. For members who have an existing Mansion account, we ask that you refer one player who doesnt have an existing account and have them put your name in the Referred by section of the sign up page. This will give you both of your seats to the tournament. Any other question please contact me at info@allinforthecure.ca

    Thanks!

  • So you clearly do not understand the rules about posting the same post across different boards...
  • yes, clearly...
  • Why was the event cancelled at the last minute?? ???
  • Good question... especially without contacting the TD
  • another class act.

sorry to hear you got burned al.

No idea, I didn't get an email notifying me that it was cancelled and only saw it on their site late Friday night. I called a couple of friends that were supposed to go as well and they had no idea or notification that it was cancelled.
  • soon you will hear:

I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts. IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD.
  • obviously they didn't get the required number of signups to run the tourney. Probably happen in the new year.
