It's calling two bets or more in one shot. Someone raises, gets raised and I call. I won't call a four bet with med pockets, so it's really just calling a three bet for me.
No, it's when I call and there's a raise behind me and I call that. If it's two bets to me, then it's a cold call.
I found the cold call stat very interesting because intuitively it feels like it wouldn't be that profitable and it wouldn't happen that often. I'm wrong on both counts and I'm also wrong about doing as much as I do.
Note the hand strength at river stats -- this is where I make all my money with medium pocket pairs (at a showdown). So pre-flop for me isn't where the money's at and I try not to get to fancy. I'm certain at 3/6 and higher this wouldn't be the case and there would be more money in winning without a showdown. However, that's not where I'm playing.
You should check this out if you are not 100% sure how these stats are put together.
Pre-flop action makes the blinds the first bet so calling a raise is would be considered a cold call. (This is not software I am familiar with but alot of poker programers don't know shit about the game)
Also you obviously are going to be making the most money with PP when you get to showdown because these are going to be the times that you hit your sets and get paid off.
It is standard that when you get to the river unimproved you are losing money but you are losing more when you have 2 pair. I would watch out for the spots where you are getting counterfeit. You may have a bit of a leak there.
