Yes it is - Pushing is more profitable than a FOLD, but not a check.
If there is no fold equity at all, then you are only going to win an average of 43% of the money that goes in on the turn, but the less amount of money you put in on the turn the better your equity.
But, if you check or bet small and they shove, you definitely have the right odds to call.
The only reason to push here would be to gain fold equity - so if we are saying that no fold equity can be gained, then shoving is definitely the wrong choice

My question is how many hands had been played at that table, by the looks of it not many, as it was very early in the tournament. Again, I don't understand how you would have a read on this guy that early in the tournament. Secondly, your raise preflop was a joke......you were looking for action and you got it, he reraises you and you just call, if you thought you were beat you shouldn't have called his reraise, you should have folded or pushed, you did neither. He outplayed you plain and simple, you showed weakness and he took advantage of it.
