    Enjoy!
  • I didn't want to get into this since it was off topic..but even though I did lose my mind- I'm not all that sorry to the guy, just to my table and dealer.

He misplayed/misbet his hand and then began screaming at me for about 90 seconds before I ever lost it, he WAS implying alot and not just asking to see my cards first but screaming at me that I wasn't going to see his cards, and swearing at me for 'chasing'. He was a complete asshole and deserved every obnoxious thing I did to him...

(No, that's not enough of a reason for ME to lose it as there are 9 others to consider, I'm just saying that I wouldn't feel too sorry for him.. and I'm glad he went broke)
  • This thread went sort of the wrong direction I think Kristy intending on it going, that said I can say that I have met 13Cards and he seems like a straight shooter and an all around good guy. And I have met Kristy and she's a cool chick (I can call ya that right?) that enjoys the game and is one of us.

I think the original point of the thread was to ask what the worst thing we've done at a table so here's mine.

About a year back I was in Atlantic City (Caesars) for a WSOP Circuit event, and I was in a hand with some hillbilly (yeah he had the overalls on) and I raised from mid position with JJ and he called from the small blind, the flop came K 7 3 and he checked and I bet about 80% of the pot (I still remember this shit because it still pisses me off to think about it lol) anyways he calls my bet and the turn is 4 and he checks, I bet about 3/4's of the pot again and he snap calls again, at this point I really have no read on what he's calling with as there was no flush or straight draw out there, the river is a Queen and he checks and I check behind and he tables Q9 off and I snap. Not believing he could call the raise and then the flop and turn bets I curse and the dealer calls the floor and I am given a 10 minute penalty, the hillbilly starts laughing and I tell him to GO F&(*&^ Himself and I get another 10 minutes. By the time I got back to the table I had been blinded down to 600 in chips. Thats my story.
  • Way to get it the thread back on track Voodoo, appreciate the post... lol.. Somehow I can't imagine you losing it like that, must have been in your younger day.... Nice story tho.. I would add one but all I have ever done at the table is make stupid moves that cost me chips, but......... I do it OFTEN!
  • I had a blow up the other week at fallsview...not to the same magnitude but...super loose player doing the standard 40 buck raise on the 5-5 table and bet 100% of pot continuation (with air).

I pick up A9H and call his raise OOP. Flop comes 942...all rainbow...I check..he bets out 100 (standard air bet), I check raise 250.....he re-raises me all in for another 150 (the rest of my stack). I table A9 at this point I know I am ahead as he refuses to show his cards....river 10...he flips A10...

Goes on to berate my play with A9 and how I should not have called his re-raise after my check raise...I gave him a few choice words and left the table other wise I would have tilted 2K into that game.

Moral of the story...even when you are right you shouldn't call to be a PRO..lol
  • ahhhhh noooooooo, some of you missed the point of this thread, i was getting back on topic.
