I assume it was a disappointing series of tournaments? any trip reports? as I will be at TS on Sunday, would be interested in some details on the poker room.
I'll be there from Friday night til Sunday (dec 7-9th). Probably leave around 3 pm to head back. I figure to get in about 30 hrs... I'll be there with my wife. I'll prolly hit some shopping in Syr. and get a little sleep in there too!
If anybody cares, they are having another tournament weekend from Jan 3 - 6. Same $300, $500, and $1000 ME, but this time $300 is 6 max instead of the $500 event.
I will probably be heading there for a couple of days between December 17-22.
With not enough decent poker games in Ontario casinos, :mad: I understand why so many players travel to the US or other provinces, but I don't think I'm good enough to overcome all the hotel and other expenses. It's challenging enough for me to be +EV spending the one hour of gas driving to Seneca or Casino Brantford, but I would lose a lot of money if I travel to and stay at Foxwoods, Turning Stone, Atlantic City, BC, etc. just to play poker. I think my only exception will be to go to the WSOP in Las Vegas and bring my family along for a vacation.
pokerJAH, why don't you play in the decent and cheap tournaments at Seneca between now and Sunday?
maybe because I will on a cruise in the caribbean...and apparently they have NLH on the ship look out trouble.. at least I get a few hours at TS on Sunday (if my chips last that long). Good luck at Seneca and say hi to the redhead for me.
