I suddenly feel like I'm in the crying game :). Male for the record, but thanks for the Hearty Welcome!

    That's what she said...
  • oops, sorry Zunni..it was the fruit/perfume comment combined with the 'I feel' statement. In the pokerforum setting it's sort of like feminist-crack for me.

No worries. I've been with my wife for 14 years so I'm barely a man now anyway...
  • Ok, I'm new here and don't really want to step on any toes. I am not a pro nor do i claim to be. I play 1/2 at BM casino and supplement my income as i pay a ton of child support LOL. I wanted to clarify. Luck is important but plays hand in hand with skill. the good players know the odds to take a chance to get lucky. They don't just throw their chips in hoping to hit. They pick their spots through sound logic. Yes, they lose as well but not because they're stupid. They take a sound risk when the odds are in their favour to take that risk. If they get outdrawn or their coin flip doesn't win, they regroup to play again. There is a reason you see a lot of the same players at final tables. Also, most pros make the bulk of their money playing cash games. :js :jd
