3:00 - 3:30 Back to Bristol / have a drink

3:30 - 4:30 Liar's Dice!

4:30 - 6:00 Drinks / Dinner

6:00 - ???? Poker and then Perfection as you bust out (no practicing!)

Sunday: Curse Mark and the LMO...

General Rules:

You must be well lubricated, drinking with regualarity throughout the events.

If you pass out / get denied access / get kicked out, you don't get any points, and will be mocked mercilessly

Game-specific rulse:

Bowling:
- Every third frame will be the "beer frame", whereby the lowest scoring person will have to buy a round of beers / pitcher for his lane. You an only be the beer bitch once.

- Verbal and gestural distractions are encouraged throughout the game, but no touching the bowler.

Billiards:
- Standard 8-ball rules.

- You should probably be drinking throughout the game.

- Single elimination

Liar's Dice: See later in thread (pg 3?)

Poker:
- NLHE tourney, no rebuys / add-ons. Drinking is mandatory

Perfection
- You play this game last, you can only use one hand, and must fill the other hand with an alcoholic beverage.

Drinks can be of your choice, beer, mixed, shots, whatever. For the bowling round though, only beers can be bought in the beer frames (i.e. we're not buying a double rye and ginger for the dude not drinking beer).

Still a $20 entry fee, and fund your own alcohol / transportation.

We will pay out the top three players only, regardless of participant numbers 50%/30%/20%

  • Ummm RC IV that day.
  • Yea yea.. just realized that... working on it

Edited the OP... wondering if Thanksgiving is going to interfere with participation on October 6th?

    Mark
  • Oct 6 is good for me.
  • LOL... oh yeah, the Royal Cup's that day. If you can find another venue, feel free to schedule it without me. :(
  • AFAIK Oct 6 is good for me. Can't wait!!

    stp
  • 6th should be ok...Edited title for you too.
  • A part of me died when I found out I can't make this. And unfotunately it wasn't part of my liver. I've been training too... I'm still hung over from Saturday night right now!

    /g2
  • You won't be back for Thanksgiving?

    Mark
  • My liver and I will be there.

    Johnnie

EDIT: Ok, I went back and read the thread.....is Waterloo Bowl 5 or 10 pins? Not that it matters.

Mark no registering anybody that brings their own bowling ball/shoes, pool cue, putter or customized version of Perfection.

ps...How could you forget about the Royal Cup?
  • Well sweet Mamma Jamma!

Looks like people CAN make it... "eff family time" eh?

    Alright.. it's on

I'm not spending $120 on gas two weekends in a row. Probably gonna do the family thanksgiving thing on the RC4 weekend.

    /g2
  • Damn..

In my car, that'd be like... $20 in gas.. tops.

And Mario does not count! :D
  • Unless you can get Tye to host, you may wish to remove Bristol from the schedule of events.
  • Sign me up.
Been training since the last one. :)

My wife says that I'm the laziest....
  • BEEEEEP BOOOOP!

    I'm in.

    Ringer!!!! :)
  • Getting the Silver medal last year just wasn't good enough...mind you the Gold medalist did not have a single alcoholic drink all day. I think I'm in...however...I would like to request a few additions to the rules:

If you bring you're own pool cue and worse your own little black leather pool glove everyone gets to either punch you in the face or kick you in the nuts.

If you bring your own putter, see above.

If you bring your own darts (I know we're not playing but still), see above.

Oct 6th will be tough but I'll try my best Mark, it was a blast last time!
  • I completely agree.

    (Potential Addition)

If I hear anyone say, "I don't play __________ (darts, pool, bowling) much." with a nervous or shy or awkward or nancy-ass tone, everyone gets to either punch you in the face or kick you in the nuts.

Although chronologically short, I have vast experience playing bar games. Mark my words, every guy who is losing or loses to another guy uses the above line, or a varation of, to save face. In actuality you end up looking like a Rachael Ray fan.

    Be cool.
  • Don't worry E, Austin the Ringer isn't coming this time.
  • Yea...

I seem to have neglected to mention it to him...

    Mark
  • Just a quick confirmation...

    Mark
  • Can I bring my own fooseball table? lol

    I vote Liars Dice.
  • I vote for fooseball, but if you get ScottyZ to play, I'll donate to Liars Dice.
