Personally I would not raise an open ended staight draw into this flop with 8 callers... (that just can't be right)... but I'm sure some would. I'm not against capping in this question. I think the call and cap are very close however, and maybe tweaking the question a little to emphasize your point may be the 'best' play.
Heck... in poker.... everything is debatable!!!
In question 5... you should look at the order of betting as well... 3 callers ahead of you pre-flop with the SB and BB coming along... all 5 players should be acting before you after the flop... not just 3. Just have a couple fold in there and the question is more appropriate for your original intent.
Last week B&M:
5-10 HE... I get AA under the gun and raise, couple fold, MP caller, then a rock re-raises... folded back to me... I just call and so does MP. 3 to the flop which comes a beautiful AK5 rainbow. I check, MP bets, rock smooth calls and I'm 90% sure he's got KK or AK. I call. Turn pairs the 5... no flush draws... I bet out... MP raises(uh-oh) ... and rock re-raises... now I know MP and the rock fairly well... and I'm certain the rock's got AK or KK... and MP... I'm not sure but I'm beginning to think(hope) he's got 55... (note: Bad Beat Jackpot ~$20000... AAAJJ or better to qualify)... I call... Dealer turns the river... K... WOOHOO!!! check...check...check. (already enough money in pot to qualify)
Before I reveal what happens... here's the thing... You can't talk about the Jackpot during a hand.... but if there was ever a situation where a deal should be made... this is it!!
a) MP has 55, rock has KK
MP gets $10000
rock gets $5000+pot
our hero....$625
b) MP has 55, rock has AK
MP gets $5000+pot
rock gets $625
our hero...$10000
c) MP has crap, rock has KK
MP gets $625
rock gets $5000+pot
out hero... $10000
This is just sceaming DEAL, DEAL, DEAL... but what happens...
d) MP has K5(crap), rock has AK
MP gets $0
rock gets $0
our hero... pot...$151... What a rip!!!

Wow, I'm sick! Somehow this seems better to me than a), even though
you get less. a) would have pissed me off so much i couldn't play
again for.... a little while.
You actually managed to find a casino near Cornwall where a 5-10 player will play K5 through a pre-flop where players have AA and AK?!? Where did you find...
Hmmm.... I think it might be a non-bad-beat bad-beat story, which would make it, essentially, just a story (but a good one).
That Cornwall-ish casino seems like ACTION to me! Wish it was around the corner. Too bad you didn't hit the jackpot...

Good idea. I've changed it to something a little different though, as explained in an earlier post:
question five where I suggested raising for a free card. Dave (and others) are right... you don't want to raise in a big multiway pot like this because you don't want to lose anybody. So, I changed the question, and made it heads up between the button and BB. Folded to the button ("you") who raises preflop with KcJc. BB calls. Heads-up to the same flop: Ac 9c 6h. BB bets. Here, I think it is 'un-debatable' that raising for a free card is the most correct play, as it is not a multiway pot, and your raise may get him to fold right then and there if he was just 'testing' you.
So, I changed the question to suit my answer
I like to cheat. My answers aren't right? That's OK... I'll change the question!

Oh yeah. Never mind.
Well done. Our first non-bad beat story.
