I was going to post about it, but Aces said it all "The best tournament that never happened." It was fun to put some faces to names and such, also playing 3/6 for the rest of the night was a nice runner up event (even though I had a -ev night LOL)
I agree with AA and if they adjust the blinds should be a great tourney next time.
Good guys, good set up, too bad all the players there were also good.
Have to agree with All_aces and the rest of the crew. The set up was good, but I guess a $200 tourney was too ambitious for the organizers first game. If anything, as Garro said, it was good to actually meet some of the guys from the forum. I'll say this though, the next time we play, I won't be hungover and might actually have more than five words to say to everyone! Gotta agree with Esool too....it was the first time I played at a table where EVERY player knew what they were doing. Should make for some great games in the future when we play together again.

Yeah like that hand that I KNEW I flopped the nut straight heads up and the other player KNEW he flopped the low straight with a flush/straight flush draw. We both bet the fcuk out of it until the river gave him the straight flush.. That was cool...
I actually found the game really interesting because we were all feeling each other out for most of it.....especially in the NL game, we were all playing very tentatively. I just found that interesting.
'Where are the fishies? Heeeeeeere fishy fishy fishy... Damn. No fishies. Anyone wanna play a limit game instead so we can outdraw each other for kicks?'

Yeah, a two-table $200 NLHE tournament may not be a good call-out to all the fishies out there.
Try a $3-$6 limit HE game or maybe micro-buy-in NL (which seems to be the new black in terms of semi-organized home games), and you'll pretty much get everyone you need including the guy who rides around in a pimp-mobile with a Pop Tart in the passenger seat.
Ive played in even 25 buy in sit and go live games where we had a hard time attracting fish....some told us they thought 25 was to much...would have done 10...but what is the point of that?
200 sounds high for the fish. 50 would prob make sense for a multi table mini tourney
