The "boredom" is getting to me, especially as I feel it is directly related to the budget cuts from AMC. Also, the continuity errors are mindboggling. They start the season fretting over the fences being overwhelmed by the shear mass of the Walker herds that sense the food within the prison, but as soon as the Governor shows up with his (noisy as all hell, and slower than shit) TANK, not a Walker in sight until it becomes convenient again. Total BS that never would have occurred in Seasons 1 or 2. Show is going "Heroes" on us.

Though I do like the idea of Glen mistaking the doppleganger Maggie for the real thing and going Sister-wives in the second half of this season. LOL

Martinez getting all pally with the Governor, even after witnessing him slaughter the previous group?

Walkers disappearing for no apparent reason, other than the storyline requires it?
But then they reappear to make the chaos even more pronounced?

Rick dodges a hail of gunfire at the beginning of the assault, but then no one on the attacking force bothers to look to the right as they advance PAST the bus?

I like the show, too, but these (frankly) LAZY continuity flaws frustrate the SHIT out of me.

I thought of that too with all the people running past Rick like that, as if no would shoot him.
The night before Rick and Carl took out about 100 walkers that broke through the fence, then they came from the woods when they heard the gunfire during the fight.
I don't get Martinez. He's stupid I guess.
You're right there is inconsistencies, but it's a great story. I like movies/shows about the end of the world, and zombies

Was working at a moderate sized Canadian retailer (name witheld to prevent my arse from making things worse than they currently are) as an assistant manager.

The wrestling thing, sadly, doesn't pay the bills. For the hours I put in on it, I'd make more playing $1 SNGs :)

I've got a major hate on going for these superimposed ads that flash on behind the hockey nets in the NHL and also down the 1st & 3rd baselines in MLB. Are the fucking dozens of ads along the boards not enough?

a new development that i'm pissed off about. just found out today that all the poker sites that i frequent have been blocked by my school board on account that they are "gambling" sites. these sites include cardplayer.com, pokernews.com, pokerlistings.com, highstakesdb.com, etc. (obviously these are not gambling websites, so wtf?).

i'm also slightly worried because i pretty much know i'm the only one on those sites (at my school), so hopefully i don't get into trouble, but i can't really see what their issue would be other than i'm on the internet too much maybe. it's not like i'm gambling during work or something.

anyway, word of warning that i might get blocked to this site as well since the term "poker" appears somewhere on it and obviously i'm a degen-gamble-holic loser. fuck the man.

If they've just blocked them now, you won't be able to access them so I can't see what they'd give you trouble for.

I would think this is pretty standard in the sense that I wouldn't expect a school board to differentiate between sites that you actually gamble on and those that discuss gambling/poker/etc.

If they blocked the ones you mentioned, yup I'd expect this one to be gone soon too.

Get back to work edumicating our future world leaders!

the school i teach at is mostly independent study (i do teach a 6 week literacy course 3 times a year as well in between my regular teaching). so i literally sit on my ass all day and just wait to help students if they have any questions. i also do all the marking of their assignments (which can be a shit ton if all 40+ of them are working diligently) but i'm not allowed to do the marking during the day while the students are here. if i couldn't surf the internet as well, i'd go nuts listening to my students ramble on about their crazy lives lol.
