Tonychanman;336632 wrotewhy do people have trouble making first time deposits? i've convinced a friend to play some satellites for events 11 and 12 of the WSOP but he says he can't register and has to call to verify info. he's now considering not bothering due to the inconvenience. i think it was mentioned earlier in this thread as well that it's happened to others as well
Tony, we have an extremely detailed registration process. This is to ensure the highest level of correct identity. Some players can't register at first attepmt because their info doesnt match up (For example, they just moved and addresses aren't matching). Other sites don't have such strict policies for sign up, but to get money off their sites can be painful. ie photo copy of drivers license, utility bill, etc etc and payments take a long time to process. PlayNow doesnt have this issues as players can take advantage of the fastest and safest direct payments in the industry.
End of the day, some of the time pains at the beginning make the remainder of the money in/out process so much better and safer.
