Bristol St. presents -- "The 'Easy' Poker Bash" - Sat. June 25, 2pm-?
In celebration of Easy's birthday, we're holding a fun day of poker at my place, starting with a $20 freezeout, then moving into games of whatever people want to play after people bust out. Here's the schedule of events...
At 1:00pm the doors will open and people are welcome to show up!
At 2:00pm we'll start a $20 No-Limit Hold'em Freeze-out Tournament (24 players max. 10,000 chips to start, KWSOP Blind schedule with 15 minute blind levels.) **PLEASE RSVP TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT!!!**
With the format above, the tournament should last about 5-6 hours. This gives everyone a chance to break for supper and start a variety of side games. In fact, I'll also be offering a $1 Winner-Take-All No-Limit Hold'em Beginner's tournament, (complete with lessons, if needed). If you or someone you know would like a chance at playing the game without risking a lot of money, then this is the tournament for you. Please let me know if you're interested and we'll set the start time based on interest.
And remember, if you're the winner of the Beginner's Tournament, you will win a prize purse worth..... ONES OF DOLLARS!!!
After that ends, people are free to propose and play games, and some of us may head out later in the night to go dancing at Abstract. (Or you can play more poker)
A BBQ will be provided for supper, and people are free to order in. Bringing a snack for yourself or others would be wonderful.
And, as always, games at Bristol Street are RAKE-FREE.

Cory
I'm speaking on his behalf because as you know Rob, he's still in the Degree tournament (though, if he makes the finals ... he may be pokered out lol)
Can you add a friend of mine to the list. ( Mark)
Thanks,
Can't wait to hear more stories about the Degree tourny, Rob!! (and more about that hottie Shannon sat with!!)
JohnnieH

Sorry everybody, that's an inside joke that was meant to sass Mark B.
Johnnie
Are you nuts? If you get a hamburger, he'll call all your all-ins!!
Mark
Geoff C "carmaker"
thanks rob.
Johnny
I'm going to go ahead and say no.
Didn't he beat you that hand?
With my luck, he'd smoke me with his 9-2 offsuit!!
JohnnieH
No no... pocket 10's vs. Q's
Ok, let's go out for burgers before we go to Robs. I know a great place.
(Or get take out)
JohnnieH
I did lose to Mark's QQ with my 1010 and whatever two random cards Mario pushed his chips in with...
Too many Barbara Walters specials..."why kind of a tree would you be.." "what did you have for dinner at Jack Astors"
Evidently not the correct "probing" question to ask when two are all in ahead of you.
Good thing the booze kicked in and I took the second sng down.
Back to the Bristol talk. Looking forward to Saturday Rob!!!!!!!!!!!
If no one minds playing in the kitchen I'll be adding a 4th table if needed. I'm guessing that, due to the usual dropouts we'll end up back down at 24, but the option is there if we need it. The reserve list has been altered.
This is, of course, due to the overwhelming popularity of Easy's birthday and not, of course, due to the overwhelming popularity of poker and the fact that it's the weekend so I've got more time to set up.
hork.
Gee... if we were getting options...
Can I play near the keg?
Mark
I''m willing to bring my poker table top too, if you need it.
JohnnieH
Thanks for the offer!
See ya tomorrow!!
