June 6 Live updates re Devin all aces and Bob Jarrett

With apoligies to the forum, the easiest for me is to send updates to my webmaster Murray.

So, I am going to sweat Devin and Bob for the rest of the day. I will makes frequent updates at www.CanadianPoker.com instead of here on the forum.

This would, however, be a great place to talk about their progress.

I did read that, but I was referring to anywhere else.
  • I think the webmaster fell asleep :'(
  • Remember for those of us in the EST timezone, they are still cleaning up brunch dishes out there in the West. He also said they were starting at noon which is only 45 mins ago. I am sure we will all be able to waste plenty of time at work checking for updates after 3:30.

A noon "shuffle up and deal" posting would keep me occupied for an hour :D

They have started updating...three players eliminated with both our horses still alive...
  • Don't you love it when the chip leader gets wired Aces to start the next round of play? Bastarde! Also cash game killer David Oppenheim is out, he knew he was no match for the beaver boys!
  • The Beaver has cracked the top 30!

Cue Travolta montage from "Staying Alive" - but substitute goofy dance scenes with gritty poker action!
  • I'm getting updates from Dave.  Here's the latest:

27 players left.  Dave Oppenheim (sitting to Devin's left) out.
Devin cuts off a David Chui steal!
    Devin at 100000
    Bob at 2000

I'll keep the updates coming as I get them.

  • ty all_aces lady friend!
  • Hey Nat

It's Alistair...i'm on the edge of my cubicle over here....Go Devin!!!

BTW - you gotta re-register and change your handle after this is over......the last time I played you, you destroyed me.  Maybe something like Mankiller, or Lady Shark, or Nut Buster....
  • Al,
I'll keep those names in mind!

    Go Devin Go!!
    nat
  • Seats have been redrawn.
Devin is in seat one. Looks like a good draw. David Chui to his left, no other names at his table.

    Bob is UTG with 2000.

  • About Bob:

all in with 5 way action...

    Flop AK4 3 Q

runner runner flush ... Bob is out in 27.
  • I can't believe his stack grew to 100k from 46k already!  The man is on a mission...

    Only 27 left...
  • Damn - still, a very fine showing. 27 out of over 1,000 is amazing...
  • devin now has the beaver. He is playing well. Just check raise bluffed david chiu and took down 17000 chip pot. He has about 115000

I think he is the chip leader.
  • HOLY SH*T!!! Go Devin - time to "Moderate" them into submission!
  • By the Way - how do we know he check-raised bluffed him?? Did he show them? What balls on that beaver!!!
