MyVegas real rewards in vegas

Hi all. I'm sure some of you are aware of the Facebook game MyVegas but for those that don't know it is a Facebook game where you can earn points towards rewards at M Life casinos. Before my trip in May my wife and I will have 2 free show tickets and 4 free dinner buffets. Well worth the time if you ask me. Other rewards include free rooms, room upgrades, club entrance and attraction tickets. Rewards are redeemed on your M Life card.

Just thought you all might want some freebies for your next trip.

  • Cole's Notes on what the game entails? In general, I'm disliking FB more and more each day, so getting more involved in it would be a reach. However, I do like freebies.

Wife and I just starting talking about our next trip to Vegas today though!
  • Hi bill. Basically you get chips each day from a daily spin and play slots and blackjack with the chips. Depending on how much you play and amount bet you earn loyalty points. With the loyalty points you buy rewards. Better rewards the more points they cost. You also build casinos on your strip and can collect coins from the casinos.

My beautiful wife has been playing for 3 weeks and has earned 2 buffet passes at luxor or excaliber.

Are they trying to reward you or penalize you?
  • Why are those buffets not good??
  • Thanks Steve.

Cashed in my points for two free O tickets - $155 tickets, with tax and service charges, these seats would have cost me $362.90. Got really good seats too. Figured we would be stuck at the back or obstructed view.
  • I've been playing for about 2 months now, racked up 125k in loyalty points which can get me some decent stuff. I'm trying to get enough for a tasting dinner for 2 at Wolfgang Puck, which is around 200k credits. I don't have any plans to go to vegas in the near future, so by the time I do go, I should have a lot more credits for more freebees.

The game is nice because once you level up a few times, they give you "auto spin" option, which lets you just spin the slots like 100 times in a row. So you can just hit auto spin and leave it alone while it works in the background. You just have to check once in a while to collect bonuses. The crappy thing about the game is that there's tons of ads (gee I wonder why) and they're always trying to get you to buy chips with cash.
  • Hey moose, glad you were able to make use of your points. I also thought the show tickets would be poor seats but we were 5th row. Have a great trip.
  • What show did you see?
  • We went to see Terry fator. Fantastic show.

Added two free Bellagio lunch buffets and two free Aria dinner buffets for our trip.

two free Aria dinner buffets for our trip.

I absolutely loved the Aria buffet, and I miss it so.
  • I have been playing most of this year. (on a side while playing online)
I had so far claimed for 1 nite at MGM, 1 nite at Excalibur, buffet for 2 at CircusCircus during the trip to wsop this year.
I have about 250k LP, planning on using it for some free nites next wsop.
As you level up, LP accumulation pace does slow down but still ok with me. I hope rewards value don't drop too much by next year.
  • An optimal strategy guide for this facebook game that I found (if anyone is interested)

myVEGAS Slots Optimal Slot Strategy - JustMyVegas.com
  • I don't Facebook. Can I still play this game and collect rewards?
  • A mobile app is supposed to be launching soon
  • The mobile app isn't nearly as good as the facebook app, but still OK for collecting point.

In other news, I'm not sure if it was a glitch or not, but I was playing the new Bet Rock game on FB, playing 300 per spin. The game crashed, and when it reloaded it said my free spins was interrupted, and when it finished my 10 free spins I was given 388,000 chips! I normally struggle to get even close to 60k chips at any time. Not sure what happened but I'll take it.
  • So what do you guys do when you bust out? Do you buy more chips with real $?

I signed up this morning and was out of chips in half an hour.

Nevermind, saw the link above afterwards.
  • Once you have your casinos all built you get about 20k per day between the casinos, your friends and the daily spin. I save them all up and blow through them on bonus days. Over the 12 Days of Christmas bonus I went from 2.4m down to about 120k, but I gained about 50k of the gold chips.
  • Are you following the optimal strategy posted above, or doing your own thing?

I've read through it but a lot of it doesn't seem to make sense. i.e. I don't have the option to do what he suggests at certain levels. Also, some of the links to the groups are closed.

Right now I'm at level 10 and still betting the minimum. That seems to be the only way I can keep my chip blance up, but collecting loyalty coins is slow at this level.
  • There is no such thing as optimal strategy. What that guy doesn't realize is that you don't have to end a bet on the exact amount needed to fill the gold bubble for the gold chips. If you bet over the amount needed, then it carries over to fill the next bubble. Basically choose the most fun game and spin away. The ratio of gold chips earned is fixed to the amount of red chips bet so it matters not in the long run if you bet all your red chips in one spin or 100 spins, except that in the short term you might lose all your red chips.

ie 10 spins @ 10,000 per spin has more variance than 100 spins @ 1000 per spin. In theory over the long term you would lose chips at the same rate regardless and therefore earn the same total number of gold chips.

As you are still in the casino building phase, either choice would also earn you the exact same amount of experience.

Another high variance strategy is to take your daily spin and bet it all on blackjack and try and double up and then spin. I do this if I am running low on chips and don't feel there is any other way I can complete a puzzle bonus without more chips.

I mostly use the betrock game just because it has the least number of bonus games that interrupt your autospinning. Since I want to invest the least amount of time playing, the autospin is very handy.
  • That's what I thought also. Just wanted to confirm with someone further along.

Right now I'm sticking with min bets at Excalibur as it seems to be more profitable than the other options available right now. I don't mind the Bonuses at this point since they're pretty lucrative and I only have 25 max autospins anyways.
  • Are there any sites that list the best rewards, i.e., lowest points per dollar value of reward? I can see why some can get addicted and spend way too much time on this game, but I don't understand yet how I can get any rewards by spending < 5 minutes/day.

  • Check in, do your daily spin, collect your chips. Done.

As you build your casinos, the casinos will randomly pay out red chips (playable) or gold chips (exchangeable for rewards). So you will earn gold chips without doing anything but collecting once a day.

When there is some sort of reward bonus, spin away your chips, collecting the reward as a discount against your losses. Spinning will build your casinos and earn you the coveted gold chips.

Install the myvegas app on your phone and use your downtime to accumulate more gold chips.

    EZ game.

Since Sept, doing this I have earned about 255000 gold chips over about 27 weeks or just under 10k gold chips a week and I have had the phone app only since Jan.

My wife plays it a little more diligently than me (but no phone app) and has well over 300k gold chips in the same period. I should also mention that she joined facebook only for the myVegas game, and has all of two friends. So you can do it and have no friends!

Thanks. I wish I had installed this app in my 2 iPods, iPad, & Android tablets for the many hours that Fallsview made poker players wait on every visit. :-[ Do you double your points if you play on your PC and other devices at the same time?

Can you redeem for five or more days' worth of room comps at a time or are you limited to three days? What's the difference betweena "Comp Room Bonus" and "Comp Room" (12K vs 20K for the forum favourite of Circus Circus)?
  • The bonus is available on very limited days.

It is 3 rewards per account per rolling 30 day period. Best value is shows or the high end rooms.

Let me google that for you
  • Thanks for the link & other replies. After spending over a month with four synced devices and getting to level 39 but not even enough points to redeem for one night at Circus Circus (20,000), :-[ I have to agree with the recent reviews that MyVegas is not worth the huge total amount of time spent on it for non-gamers like me who would play it only for the rewards. One can earn more money with all that time through even online poker freerolls, or save almost as much using the many quick money-saving methods.

I'll spend the minimum amount of time on it to redeem something when I go to Las Vegas this summer, such as buffets. I'll try to attend the MyVegas Meetup at Aria on June 9 including the Mystery Bag Tradition, if I'm not busy playing the Legends Classic Series or SPT. Was anybody here one of the 571 guests at the MyVegas Road Trip to Toronto last November?

  • It's really not a game worth playing if you're just staring at the screen actually playing the game. I have the game running in the background and just check it occasionally to collect bonuses then let it roll again. I've collected a fair amount of credits and am not even sure when I'm going to vegas yet, but when I do I'll probably be able to stay there for free the whole time and have at least half of the meals comp'd plus see a few shows.

Since this post Mar. 4 I'm now up to 312000 gold chips and I do little more than log in once per day, set it to autospin and go away. I have hardly touched it the last two weeks. I haven't even started playing the Easter promo yet.

My wife actually plays and she has gone from 300k to 437k in the same period.

All I can say is yur doing it wrong. ????

Pretty much this - 9 days out of 10 I just login, get my daily bonus and I call it a day.
