  • Yup, I can imagine someone sitting there going "ok look, I know whe run like 4 of these every hour and I know there are like 80 entries with 4 guaranteed tickets giving you effectively a 21 dollar overlay buuut, if you ever want your starting stack back instead of waiting 15 minutes, for the low price of 50 times as much as you payed the first time, you know who to talk to"

  • It's an $0.11 trny. Of course many of the wrong buttons were clicked. Would you really expect it any different?
  • I already knew it after I made my first online deposit in 2008, but congratulations on finding your bankroll builder. :)

  • well I'm playing today, need to stop playing above my bankroll but these 5 dollar omaha8 tourneys are so juicy. Dicipline is hard
  • Are you playing these Omaha tourneys on partypoker?

  • yeah, I've run my 20 dollars up to around 72 dollars, gotten some decent rungood so far, but I really need to manage my bankroll a bit better, I'm not planning to reload this money
  • Yesterday turned out to be a meh day, goal for today is to get an hour of rest and some lunch now after my run, and then aim for my bankroll not swining too far in either direction (especially not down :D )

    Sunday starting bankroll: 66.02$
    Sunday ending bankroll: 70.82$

all in all still too many expensive tournaments, tried to do mainly 1 dollar and 0,5$/1$ rebuys but I threw in the occasional 2$ omaha and a couple of 5$ omaha8. I don't think I can avoid playing these so I should probably play a few fewer tables when playing a 5 dollar tourney and not let some 0.11$ FO distract me in the future. Next session is this wednesday

    I went from $23 to $140 myself yesterday. :)
  • I triggered this one guy in a micro omaha8 tourney so hard just now:

him: "thank god there are no fins at this table, they just call call call call with nothing and suck out, I always play premium hands and get unlucky"

me: "something something I'd crush tournament poker if I weren't so unlucky in all ins"

him: "yeah, I agree, me to"

me: "you do realise I'm making fun of you, right?"

he went off pretty hard after this, it was hilarous :D

  • I shipped one :D it's amazing how people at least sort of hold it together until the final table when they seem to get a lot softer. This guy kept folding to minraises heads up then went for this one. 1/192 for 47 dollars

  • I'm back playing a bit over the summer, with a two week break after this weekend. Feel free to follow my stream or talk a bit of poker sometime, still a bit new to setting the stream up.

Currently pretty deep in a 5$ mtt (almost 30x starting stack) and playing some micro omaha cg

Actually yeah, I still havn't found my thing at all. Currently studying to become a teacher and dancing in the evenings.

I'll try to stick around a bit now for the summer, fire up my little diary thread and stream more for anyone that is interested in picking my brain or lack thereof. I hope peole are doing well on this forum still
  • Lets go, I usually do sessions later because I think the field is softer but lets go for one last session before I leave for mid summer. Starting up micro mtt's for 4,5 hours, then I'll let them die out and see what comes out of it. Stream is with holecards but no commentary, I'd be more happy to talk poker sometime tho

  • well I'm grinding...kinda.

Deep in some omania 4,4 tourney. Sitting 3/42 out of 950 entries. My table now is pretty scary, they're actually doing something not just rolling over
