Anyone getting pop up ads HERE?

I've been getting popups on the FORUMS today for gambling sites. Anyone else? I don't know if it's spyware that is on my PC or was somehow loaded on the server for this site.

Ran spyware check but the problem continues. IF you're getting popups here, I'm sorry and will get to the bottom of it. I woud NEVER use popups on this site.

Let me know if you get any, and what the ad was for.

    not on this site, no....but recently i started getting popups a lot, including gambling ones....ad aware didnt seem to work.....but Spy Sweeper did a great job, and i don't get any pop ups anymore....try it http://www.webroot.com/

    wow! I ran the latest update of adware which removed 15 objects. Still had the pop ups so I'm trying your link ark...so far it's already found 25...and this is AFTER ad-aware did its thing.

    ya ad aware didn't remove the popups that i had noticed....but spy sweeper killed everything

    No popups for me. I would suggest spybot search and destroy to remove your spyware, it is by far the best free removal tool. http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html to get it. Also you might consider getting the google toolbar which is great because it allows you to easily search the net and it is also a fairly proficient popup stopper, and its free! http://toolbar.google.com/ to pick it up!

    Between those two things you shouldnt have any problems!

    Spy sweeper worked better for me than most other Spyware removal programs... except that it uninstalled some .dlls required to run Gaming Club Poker. I still do have something infecting my IE because it changes my home page to a weird search engine... Even with the setting on Spy Sweeper that prevents the home page from changing clicked on. It catches it sometimes, but not all the time.


    Reinstalled Gaming Club and it works.

    if your homepage keeps changing, try a google search for something called CWshredder I believe it's called...I can double check the program name later today.
