What's the chance of that?
In two consecutive P/L Omaha sessions (online), I made top boat on the flop, only to lose to flopped quads. 2's the first time, 3's the next. I had K's over and Q's over... pretty nice hands in Omaha. Needless to say I got very trimmed.
The chances of this happening to a guy are obviously pretty good. I was there. But I wonder if the math guys out there could tell the odds of it happening? The two hands were about 40 deals apart. All the hands were made on the flop, turn and river did not play.
The worst part is I knew it the second time when buddy raised.....

Think of it this way... Out of all the possible hands for Omaha, your opponent had the extreme few with the pair in his hand... twice. So that's gonna be really really really really really unlikely.
Actually I think slim left town with the money......
