Any thoughts on how to play this?

OK...besides playing the weak hand out of position (I just had a feeling on this one) what would you do here or do you think I played it right?

  • Excellent starting hand.

I would have lead on the flop... probably would have made more money that way.

After he checked behind on the turn, value bet $3 or $4 on the river. No way he's going to call $10 unless he has JJ... which probably wouldn't have checked behind on the turn.

Well that was the thing that was bugging me....how much do I throw on the end?

I was thinking either $5 which is 1/2 the pot, or a pot size bet, of course with the guys standing over my shoulder saying ALL-IN I was really conflicted with the bet on the end.....I was hopping they made a full house
  • I bet out half the pot. He's not going to call more on a crying call where he knows he's beat.
  • did u show the players at the table the royal?
  • I'd just lead out on the flop, try to build a big pot agaist 2 pair or a set, or someone with just the straight. No one is putting you on a flush, let alone a royal.
  • first of all, u r00L. nh

i would have led out on the flop and turn with decent bets. if you get called or raised he has something and push the river. if you don't get called, he never had anything anyway...
