I don't know what the whole story on this is, but everyone seems to be playing nicely now. If you check out their site it shows that the blog list was "compiled for Check n Raise Poker.com by Pauly"

I submitted one last week which is WAY better than any of the ones that are there. So hopefully I'll win the $2500, as it would help a lot.

You're funny. And yes, I am trying to "cut in on your action" as the case may be. Frankly, I think encouraging others to sign up for http://www.checknraisepoker.com with the Referrer Screen Name of "Zatana" will be great for all of us, because I get tournament advantages and bonuses and they get my love (which isn't given out all that freely any more)! :rolleyes:
And besides which, isn't Garro derived from the french Guerre, meaning "War"? If so, then you should embrace this challenge!

In all I don't really care if I get 5 or 10 or 1 referral. It is the individuals choice. I just like to play and learn to play poker. And when I go to a new site I like to see some familiar faces around the table.
As for the other thing, tangent time.
Actually it is Armenian, it is a long and complicated story, the short version is... When I married my wife I married her family (basically old world family values). They liked me and figured I must have some Armenian blood in me (10th gen canadian who knows what's in the blood by this point). Anyhow they decide that they liked the name garro for me more than they like my english name of Jason. So whenever we see her family, I am always Garro. I liked it so I kept it. As for it's origin, who know, but I will ask her father next time I speak with him.
(Especially, when everyone know that the *REAL* name you should be using when filling out the referral is "Zithal"!)
