2 back-to-back tournaments at Fallsview

I've heard a lot of people wondering about the fact that there are back-to-back WPT events at Fallsview. Are they both WPT events? Are they both 10K events? Etcetera.

Their website has some info on it I hadn't seen before, so hopefully this will clear things up:

WPT Canadian Poker Open Championship
October 22 - 24
Finals: October 28
Tournament fee: $2,700.00

Will you be playing in the 10K Event AA?

Gooooood question. There are a number of factors:

1) Work schedule

2) Whether or not I win my way in

3) If I don't, would I feel comfortable coughing up 10K USD to play in one single tournament

I'm going to see what my schedule is like, and I'm going to see how the 2K event at Brantford goes for me. One thing is certain, I really want to play in the 10K WPT event, which means I will probably find a way to do so.

The WPT " North American Poker Championship" will be a typical televised WPT event from Oct. 25-29 with a $10K CAD buy-in + a $300 tourny fee.

The "Canadian Poker Open Championship" is a non-televised, at least on ESPN,  tournament from Oct. 22-24 with a $2500  buy-in.

Will  Daniel N. be there?........  a coin flip but I'd bet......  yes.

Does anyone know what time the tournaments start and what time they will run till?

Actually, PIC you are incorrect. The Canadian Poker Open is a televised WPT event, the final table for that will be taped on October 30th. The events begin at Noon each day, finish times will depend on the number of entrants. If it is a smaller field, shorter days, larger field, more people to get through... I believe the final tables (29, 30) start at 4pm each day.
