I think you could do this on numerous sites and I have a feeling this already exists and If you can point me towards where to sign up somewhere great, but I would like to play against some of these forum members.

I enjoy hearing the comments etc., but I so sick of Hobbes, Stpboy and Beanies "I know it all attitude" I want to kick their &^$! all over the felt. Just kidding.

Anyways, I think it would be fun to play in a private forum tourney $20-$100 buy in and since I can't jump in the car and drive to canada on a wednesday night, online seems best. Does this already exist? If not can we set up a weeknight game starting around 7:00pm one night.

I figured I wasn't the first genious to come up with this idea. OK, so if I read this correctly, I need to open up a Pokerstars account (anyone want a referral bonus.....first to respond wins...I assume I just need to put in your screen name) and it is everyother Tuesday. Is that right?

I'm vocal and opinionated, but far from a know-it-all (although I'm hoping to get there by the end of the year ). I'm surprised at the members you chose to call out, but I'm happy to be noticed .

I can't speak for Hobbes or stpboy I'd love to play with you. As g2 mentioned, the forum tournies are probably the best place, and Hobbes and I often play them. If that doesn't work, just LMK what you are thinking of (type of game + timing) and we can set something up either privately or as a "special" forum tourney (many have mentioned Sunday evenings?). Unfortunately, my bankroll sits at the bottom end of the $20-100 you mentioned, but I'm fine with anything $20 or less.

I think there is supposed to be a forum tourney this week (although I haven't seen a post yet), but I won't be playing any poker this week (it's my "regular break" week off), but I'm sure we can do something after that.

Yup - every other Tuesday. I'd love the bonus, but I'd recommend giving it to "westside8" (the forum admin) since he does all the work of setting them up for us.

All right, westside is the winner of the refferal bonus and I will sign up for the next tourney I can make.  My sceen name will be GIOP ("grind it out poker" my blog remember) or some variation of that.  As for the people I called out, it was completely random and only meant as a joke.  I was trying to be funny, nothing more. I appreciate everyone's comments as we are all striving for the same goal....to get better.

I can't wait to feast on some Canadian Bacon....I mean Canadian Donkeys. Ouch..I better be careful. Whenever I run my mouth in home games I am always the first one eliminated. Should be fun. Haven't heard from StpBoy yet, he must be playing with Star Trek figurines.

Oops, sorry guys..........all day Yesterday...no internet at home for the last two days. I am back at work, but I will have my internet set up at home tonight. Sorry. I will be there next tourney.GuaranSheed (it's a Detroit thing, when Rasheed Wallace guarantees victory...it was cool when it worked 2-3 times in a row, but he is 0 for his last 2 Guaransheeds).

gee whiz, tough crowd. When I made the original post, I didn't even no when the tourney's were and if they existed. Then I found out they were every other Tuesday. Still intended to play as the internet folks were supposed to be out yesterday.....but rescheduled on me.


The banter was and still is only meant as friendly chatter, not to piss anyone off. I hope to make the next tourney. Who won anyways?
