I went up on Saturday looking to play some step B satillites only to realize they were cancelled when i got there. Anyone know why? Hopefully they will run next weekend.

Was playing 5/5 NL when a guy sat down w/ about $5 K in $100 bills. Asked if people were allowed to sit down w/ that much, dealer shrugged. Watched him play, must've had history's biggest luck run (from other table he was at) or pulled out the $100 bills (poor player).

I'll suggest what we do on drunken club night here at the Aces & Eights. Rapid Jack Hold'em. Blinds double everytime a jack shows up on the flop.

Satellites began Today WPT Fallsview casino Monday, August 14, 2006. I confirmed it with Poker Manager. 1-866-5-76537-5 ask for Fallsview Poker Room.

The satellite structure at fallsview is way better than the satellite struture at turning stone for their 5K tourney. $65 gets you $500 in chips (an extra $5 nets you an additional $300). $50 rebuys if you fall below $500 or double rebuys if you hit 0. 25/50 starting blinds going up every 20 minutes. 25/50 50/100 75/150 (rebuys over) then the jump to 100/200A25. You did have the option for an add on for $50 for 1000 chips or double add on for 2000. You were playing the rebuy stage short chipped the entire time unless you doubled up. It usually had about 80 people playing with payouts being top 2 a seat and then 2500+ for 3rd (which usually got chopped down depending on the players). Look at the jump from 75/150 to the 100/200A25 given the chip stacks.

I don't think that poker professionals really give a shit or expect much more play from a satellite that is less than 1% of the event buy-in.
