  • The prize pool of $20,000 seems to equal the buy-ins ($200 * 100), so is this a rake-free satellite like those of Nexus-Poker and Beaches Poker Club? If so, I am in.

    OK, I'm all in!
  • update Aug 1
  • Are you going to have mini-satellites for the $200 buy-in?
Are the life chips only for the Thursday and Friday tournaments? For example, if I have $20,000 plus three life chips at the end of the Friday tournament, will my three life chips be replaced by $3,000 chips for a starting stack of $23,000 in Saturday's tournament? Will the blinds be rolled back on Saturday?

  • Hey Blonde,

How can you keep posting on the "Home games Hi-Jacked" thread and be in support of it and still give these illegal games free bumps, seems kind of contradictory. I'd suggest PMing them if you want to play and not force all of us to click on this useless thread.

  • stpboy, I don't think rake-free WPT satellites such as this tournament are neither a "useless thread" nor illegal. As long as the club games follow the forum rules, there is nothing wrong with posting in their threads.

Exactly, the final 16 players will have there life chips added to there starting stacks. Also if someone has 6 life chips and you take that person out you get the 6 he won thru-out the tourney plus his, so you will receive 7 from that player. Should make it a little more fun to try to attack the big stacks. As for the mini sattelites i might be running a bunch, was thinking of Starting next week Monday-Wednesday $30 sattelites for the seat to the $200. i'll be sending out emails to everyone interested for more up to date information so i will just add you to the list..
  • are seats still available? If so, I am interested.
  • Still seats open.. We are running $40 satellites Tonight @ 7pm they will be 5 man SNG's you can come out and try that, if you win a 5 man SNG you will get your $200 seat. Only makes sense to try and spend $40 instead of spending $200.. We are running SNG's Mon, Tues and Wednesday's for the whole month of August.. 7pm start..

  • could you PM me with directions
  • Please confirm if the Monday-Wednesday satellites and September 28-30 WPT satellite are still a go. Since it looks like there will be less than the 100 players required for the WPT satellite, will it just become a rake-free regular tournament?

Yes the satellites are still going.. And for the WPT seat to be a prize there will have to be 52 people minimum signed up for it and paid.. if there is lets say 45 people then it will just be a normal $200 buyin tourney and $9000 prize pool. And yes will still be a rake-free event regardless..

Monday-Wednesday satellites are still going they start at 7:30 @ the Formac
