Las Vegas
Its been a long while since I've posted on this site, but here goes. On Monday, I'll be making my first ever trip to Las Vegas. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where I should be looking to play. I'll be playing almost exclusively hold'em, likely at the 2/4 or 3/6 level. Any recommendations for casinos I should look for a game at? Thanks

The Rio is FULL of fish at these levels right now.
I would suggest hitting up the MGM grand for their 60 dollar sit and goes...they are like live party poker SNGs. First hand you watch two people go all in AK vs some stupid hand to steal 75 chips in the pot. Its great....
The 11am game at Balley's is fun too....5-6 tables usually with a 60 buck buy in. For the most part the Rio is good to go watch games and personally I stayed away from the action (other than the WSOP), even the Bellagio's 8-16 game and the Wynn's 8-16 game was horrible. Definitely beatable games every where you turn.
When you guys say that these games are super soft, etc....soft for what skill level? I play online limit at only microlimit levels. I have read a couple books. I do okay and am up about $60 on about 5000 hands at .05/.10 and .10/.20. I play quite tight but aggressive when I think I have the best of it. I ask because I am going to Atlantic City and am looking to play 2/4 limit. Will I do okay or get crushed?
If you've read a couple books about poker, you are at a higher level then most of the players at your table.
Absolutely the best comp on the strip you won't get better anywhere, get your comp card way at the back on the bottom floor and then head upstairs for some soft 2/4 or 3/6. Say hi to the dead guy at the 2/4 tables and remember to watch his lips, he'll be mouthing the card he needs on the river....
I need a J, I need a J, I need a J...an 8 falls, he'll grimace and then call your river bet. It's priceless!
As for the limits, I play mainly $0.50/1.00 on-line and I was a bit worried moving up to $2/4 live but I have to say the $0.50/1.00 games on-line are tougher by far then the $2/4 I saw at the Imperial Palace, you'll be fine!
Also played an interesting game at the Excalibur, it was $1/3 limit I believe with only one $1 blind, made some ducats there as well and I remember it being pretty soft.
Oh one more thing....the buffet at the Imperial ($3/hour may as well use it on some food!) has the best boxed champagne out of a tap ever, it goes really good with the sausage marinara sauce soup!
True it's the best comp, but if I remember correctly the "room" upstairs (ie. hallway) has been moved to the corner of the main floor (on your right if you come in the main entrance).
The 1-3 spread limit game is very soft. Basically a drinking game with chips.
If you're looking for a nicer LL room, as suggested you may want to check out either MGM or Caesers (pretty sure both offer 2-4).
If you're looking for much nicer rooms, check out Wynn, Venetian or Bellagio (although I think all of these offer 4-8 as the lowest limit).
BigE is right, the games at the IP are soft, E's a good player which helped offset the fact that he was shitfaced drunk the whole time.
I think the biggest hurdle was getting used to playing RING GAMES live in a Casino setting. I strongly suggest you hit the nearest local casino just to get your feet wet. If only to watch etc.
Wynn had 1-3 NL and 3-6 limit when I was there a few months ago.
The game is pretty soft. Just be careful with the comp drinks, that is if you care about winning.
