PL Omaha/PLO8 looking for info.
It's holiday time, every year I take a new book up to the cottage, this year I want to take something that will help me learn PL Omaha/O8. Looking back on some previous posts it seems there isn't much out there. I'm just wondering if anyone has an updated view of what would be a good starting book for someone wanting to learn this game?
Ray Zee's book looks good but might be too advanced to start an dI see comments that it's geared to higher calibre players? I am going to start out at the micro limits.
I haven't heard much about Cloutier's book?
I don't have SS2...would it be the best buy?
Anything else come out over the last year or so that I should look at?

Lyle Berman has a PLO chapter in SS2. I'll bring it to softball tonight.
Johnnie.
ps..I'll also bring Wolffhounds Lee Jones!!
It's worth reading. It's a lot like the other Cloutier/McEvoy books (ie. not very heavy on theory, but good for outlining hand selection and position/betting issues). It talks about all forms of Omaha. He (it's mostly Cloutier) keeps talking about OH8 as a limit game only, but I only play PLOH8 online. I don't know if that's because the book is old or what.
Buy it at Amazon and you get 1/3 off the cover price. Something I wish I'd done.

I have your Dad's Jones with me as well, I'll get it back to you Sunday.
