Point Ed's Bluewarts Classic

Do we have any forum members playing?

I'm signed up for Wed. and Thurs.

For those who don't know, starting chip counts 5000, blinds start at 25-25 with 20 min levels until 4th level (1st break)...then they're 30 min.

I'm really not a fan of these tournament structures, they don't allow for much above-the-rim play.

  • It means that bets have a larger range without impacting stack size, for longer periods of time. So if the stack is smaller, and the blind levels are shorter, you kinda get chased trying to stay above the average stack. As the blinds get larger, the bets and raises get bigger and are consequently jeopardizing to stack size.
  • I am on the waiting list for the tournament at the Point Edward Charity Casino, but I don't think I'll bother driving for five hours (round-trip) just to gamble over $100 on a re-buy tournament.  I'd rather wait for a rake-free tournament like Bristol Street or Royal Cup II.  By the way, I think it's called the "Bluewater" Classic, not Blue WARTS! ;)
  • Im playing on Saturday & then will stay over if all turns out a planned . Can anyone tell me what time it starts?
    Thanks & Good Luck
