New burger joint in Waterloo
Since it's getting near lunchtime, and my stomach is starting to growl, I thought I'd mention this for the benefit of everyone in the KW area. There's a new burger joint near UW called Chill and Grill, at the corner of University Ave and Phillip St. The freakin' kids burger is bigger than anything at Harvey's, and they also have a 1/2 pounder (very tasty) and the colossal pounder (which I call the widowmaker:)).
Apparently they make their own paddies (patties?) on site, so everything is very fresh. They also have salads, wraps, etc., as well as a good selection of ice cream.
Anyway, all this burger talk is making me hungry...I think I'm gonna go grab a 1/2 pounder for lunch.
