Watch out for Royal Vegas

You know I feel really scammed by your company.  You send me an offer on May 26:
Hi Robert!

Take your game to the next level and boost your bankroll.

Play in a Fixed or Pot Limit $0.25/$0.50 Hold’em ring game and rake a minimum of 5 hands and you’ll cash-in on these great rewards:

Special access to a password protected $2,500 private freeroll. (We’ll email you the details with password once you qualify).
PLUS, every 50th qualifying player will win a copy of “Secrets the Pros Won't Tell You About Winning Hold'em Poker” by Lou Krieger and Sheree Bykofsky.
PLUS, every 50th qualifying player that rakes a minimum of 100 hands in the same period will be entered into a lucky draw to win one of 10 iPod Nano’s!
A few days later I complete your requirements.  More than a week goes by and I hear nothing.  Finally I emailed customer support and you don't even know what I am talking about.
Thank you for contacting the Casinodesk.

I have had a look through your poker account and I have not seen any information regarding the promotion that you have sent to us.

Please forward me the original email that you received in order for me to assist you further

Then you promise me a response within 24 hours:

We have sent your information to our marketing company to provide you with the Freeroll details. We will be able to provide you with feedback about this matter within the next 24 hours.

A week goes by (June 13):
Robert, I would like to apologize for any delays in this matter.

We have contacted the Marketing Company in this regard and they should
provide us with feedback within 48-72 hours.

So now I am promised 48-72 hours.  Four MORE days go by and finally I am promised a response WITHIN TWO WEEKS.

Hi Robert

Thank you for your time.

I have received feedback from the Poker Marketing Company in regards to the special $2,500 Freeroll.

They have advised that you will receive an e-mail with your entry to the tournament as well as the tournament dates within the next 2 weeks.

Please keep an eye on your inbox for the invite!

I thank you for your understanding in this regard.

Thank you for playing with us. Please contact us again, should you have any further queries.

Kind regards

Rudolf

Poker Support

Here is a surprise, over two weeks have passed and still nothing.  I find your customer service extremely poor and it is extremely disconcerting that you would trick players into playing on your site with imaginary offers.  Please tell me in what way should I trust your company with my play and my money?  Be aware that I am posting this email in various online forums so that other players will be warned of your behaviour.  In fairness (even though you have been more than unfair to me) I will also post any response from you.

This is funny...I emailed them several times to not make me play in a freeroll.
  • Moose tell me where your playing so I can avoid those sites. :)
  • Check out my new thread. Bad luck just follows me everywhere.
