Brantford Motels?? Where oh where?

Thinking of playing for 3-4 days at Brantford without the 2 hour commute...anywhere cheap to stay around the casino (within 20 minutes is fine)?

I looked on expedia and couldn't find anything under $100 per night, certainly there are some cheap motels in the area, no?

As a poker player you probably don't want a full night of sleep right?

Hotels offer Day Rates ie. Holiday Inn next to the tim horton's

So after your poker session at night check in early morning like 9am and ask for a day rate. This will probably be less then 60 bucks, they will kick you at 6pm. But then go back to the poker room after a shower, and repeat the following steps the next moring.

The Davidson motel and the Rose Court motel are both in Paris,Ontario on Paris Road which leads directly to the casino. It is about a 10 minute drive to the casino or 10km's up the road and should be a lot cheaper then staying in the metropolis of Brantford.

In Brantford, a 'motel' is defined as: the barn you end up passing out in after getting really drunk and making 'friends' with the animals.

As djalikool says, the 'classy' places rent their rooms out for the day. They still permit you to bring your animals though...

Guess I'm just used to US rates of $40-$60 a night for the crappy chain motels...Days Inn, etc,etc...I'll just go and look around when I'm done playing.

There's a few cheap motels in town; just ask a taxi driver.
