Here's your first problem. It's TEXAS Hold'em, not Taxes. Those where due in April.
If you can see the flop for cheap, get in with any suited Ace, or suited connectors are OK. Say 7-8 or higher, depending on position of course.
Playing suited cards like 7-2, J-4, etc, are just garbage and should be treated that way.
Unless you happen to like SOME people and hit miracle flops playing their 62s and hitting a ful house. Or 84o and hitting 2pr on the flop. DAMN YOU COLE!!!
Generally speaking though, Johnnie is giving good advice. Suited connectors are decent if you can get in cheap, or you come in for a raise preflop with no one in the pot yet. Anything else though is trash.
cole, did you change your name?
Shouldn't you be updating your blog?

i will call pocket pairs for flop depending on raises and what pairs i have low pairs will get folded if bumped too much
i only call say 56 or 67 ect if there suited otherwise i fold if not mega bumped
and i will raise everytime i get two face cards suited or unsuited
but saying that
it also depends where your on the table to call
how many are in the hand
and is there a change someone on low chips gonna call an all in ? and would u call it preflop
u gotta watch the table see whos on the tilt
first few hands i fold everything to see how the others bet unless i have aa or ak suited lol
